There is a serious need for adequate housing and shelter in Northern Mexico and we try to make a trip every year to build a family in need, a house. The house in Mexico can be built in about 4 days. The house is built without power tools so that everyone can be a part of the process. When you build a house for a family in Mexico you will get sore muscles, laughter, joy, tears, and the chance to change a family forever in just a few days.

Since the girls are away at High Tea - the boys will get together and have some fun!
With this ladies event going on we had the idea to host a "gents event" at the church during this same time. This would be an event for the boys to attend with their dads. We will order pizza and play dodge ball and maybe mission impossible or something very boy like. More details to come!
APRIL 29TH, 2017 LOVE WEST KELOWNA. We support our city by participating in Love West Kelowna. This event started years ago with the churches in our community and now includes some of the local organisations as well. It’s an opportunity to give back to the community.
We will be cleaning up trash and doing some yard work around the Rose Valley area. We will be doing mainly weeding, so bring your gloves! We will meet at the church, and then head to the gate at the Rose Valley Reservoir where we will pick up trash and weeds. We will also be doing some work around the Mar Jok Elementary School. Afterwards we will head to the free BBQ at the Lions Community Centre in West Kelowna.
See you at the church at 9:00am!

Christmas Eve is about how Jesus can relate to us. He's gone through the human experience, seeing what we see, feeling what we feel, the ups and downs of life. People often think God is distant, like we're down here and he's way up there. So we'll explore how He truly is Emmanuel, He is with us.
Every Christmas season SunRidge Community Church hosts a dinner for the members of our community. There is a complimentary dinner for our guests, live music and family photos!
If you would like to volunteer or give to this event, please email us at email@example.com.

The gospel of Luke is going to be our focus for a while, starting November 20. It's a fascinating look at the life of Jesus as Luke, the physician, puts together a narrative for a man named Theophilus. In the first portion of Luke, we'll look at God becoming man, the incarnation, the divine putting on flesh.
