Middle School

Our Middle School Ministry is a relationally driven Wednesday night (6:00–9:00pm) gathering that is intended to begin the process of introducing students to a Student Ministry environment, and is aimed at helping students build their relationships with Jesus, leaders, and each other. This ministry is specifically designed to create a place for students in Grades 7–9 to engage in relevant issues in a safe environment – and to see how the truth of Jesus matters in every situation.

A typical Middle School gathering includes a significant amount of time to simply hangout – times where our team of leaders can be with the students in a relaxed environment and build friendships. We will typically play one or two group games, followed by a short but very direct biblically centred conversation to focus our thoughts on the topic for the evening. From there, our leaders take over and facilitate conversations in small groups that are spread out throughout the building. It is in this context that the best work of relationships takes place, and students are able to hear and be heard as they discuss the Gospel in the context of real life issues.
