Out of School Care
SunRidge Out of School Care provides afterschool pick-up services to Rose Valley Elementary School and Hudson Road Elementary School. We have a program designed to provide children with a loving environment to enjoy at the end of a school day when their parents are pressed for time. Our program is a place of excitement, adventure, learning, growing, and best of all: fun!
MISSION
To provide a safe and fun place where children are encouraged, challenged, accepted and loved for who they are and who they will be!
WHO WE ARE
Our staff are of deep-rooted Christian faith and believe that every child, regardless of age, race, religion or situation is wonderfully made and valued for who they are. As they grow they also need to be challenged and encouraged in their learning of the world around them as they strive to reach their full potential. We here at the SunRidge Out Of School Care believe in encouraging imagination and growth through fun activities and games for children. While upholding our identity, we do not run a religious curriculum nor do we dissuade children from their beliefs or opinions.
WHAT WE DO
We pick up children from Rose Valley Elementary School and Hudson Road Elementary School (as of January 2011) when classes are dismissed. We allow the children to run off some of their energy on the playground before we head down to our kid-friendly center for a nutritious after-school snack. We spend the rest of the afternoon at the center for planned activities, games, crafts and free play!
