Michael Klassen (Lead Pastor)

My name's Mike; I'm 46 and married to Teresa (for nearly 19 years). We have 4 kids and love hanging out with them. We came to Kelowna 10 years ago and can't imagine a better place to live; we love all that the Okanagan has to offer and our community on the westside. When I am not in the office, I love to find ways to do things with my kids, I love being on the lake or on the hill, all kinds of sports/recreation, a great meal out with Teresa, long rides on the motorbike. But beyond that, the thing that really captures us? Loving and leading this local church; seeing people discover who they are and why they were born; watching God transform lives.

Colleen Loewen (Children's Ministries Pastor)

Hi, I'm Colleen. You probably won't see me too much, as I am usually with the kids!
My position here at SunRidge is Children's Ministry Pastor which means planning
and organizing all the kid's programs up to grade 6; pretty much the best job in the world!

I come from Calgary (which is east of here, if you take the time to look beyond Kelowna
and see the rest of Canada). Yes, I like the snow. Yes I can ride a horse.
Yes I own a cowboy (Matt, my husband)

Anything Chocolate makes me smile and, don't tell Mike, but I like (some) country music.

Brian Hawkins ( Student Ministries Pastor)

Hi! My name is Brian, and I am the Student Ministries Pastor here at SunRidge. I really love to drink slurpees and eat Mr. Noodles, and if you and I ever get together, one of the things I love to do the most is throw a frisbee. I have been at SunRidge since June 2007, and I am crazy pumped to get to hang out with and minister to all the students between Grades 7 and 12.I believe that in the up and coming generations are the leaders, the catalysts, the visionaries who will lead the Church into a greater knowledge of Jesus Christ in the coming years. I believe that these students could be the high-caliber, revolutionary disciples of Jesus Christ who WILL revive the Church, and change the world.
