I was brought up in a home that was hostile to religion and as a result I was weary of organized religion. When living abroad during University, I was befriended by a missionary couple that introduced me to faith. Looking back, I realize before Christ I was selfish, lonely, and insensitive. I also lacked true purpose and was seeking a life of meaning. After testing the waters for 6 months, I accepted Christ and now find that I have purpose in life as a Christian. I have discovered what true joy is and have a genuine love for people. (Kristen)
