The Baton Pass: Mike & Teresa’s Last Sunday in Leadership
Join us March 3 for Mike & Teresa’s final Sunday before they step down from leadership. This will be a regular Gathering with Mike preaching his last message in our current series, Building Blocks.
There will be a time during the Gathering to mark this moment and hand leadership over to Wayne Alguire, our Transitional Pastor.
We will have a time following the Gathering to celebrate Mike and Teresa over some cake and snacks!
We’re collecting notes of appreciation and encouragement to give to Mike & Teresa!
If you would like to send Mike & Teresa a note, you can:
Pass your handwritten card to Kyle or Alecia on a Sunday
OR send a note to alecia@sunridge.org which will be printed and included in the collection
OR you can submit a note below if you’d like some specific questions to work from.
These will all be collected and given to Mike & Teresa on March 03.
What’s behind the Baton Pass graphic?
Acts 2:42 has been such an important bible verse to Mike and Teresa as they’ve lead SunRidge over these past 26 years. It’s been the calling they have come back to time and time again, through the good times and hard times of church leadership. It says, “They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.” (Acts 2:42)

…Or some of you may just need some time away from the kids. So whether your aim is to strengthen your marriage, or to reconnect with a friend or even just to curl up on a sofa with a book, please take advantage of Date Night this month.
Parents can drop off kids who are around age 5 and up (younger kids are welcome if they are able to go to the bathroom by themselves and aren't anxious about being away from their parents).
Bring your kids in their pajamas and we will do the rest. There will be an age appropriate movie, pizza, and some fun & games.
Time: 6-9pm (but you can pick up any time before 9)
Cost: $5 per child to help cover food and supplies.
Where: SunRidge, back garden door. Just ring the doorbell.

RIDGE Retreat!!!
We're having a youth group Spring Break weekend!!!! We'll stay at the church, make meals together, have campfires, devos, work on a work project together, and who know what other hilarious things will unfold?!?

Based on Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University, this course talks about handling money, conquering debt, and saving for the future. This course is faith-based and ties the practical skills back to scripture from the Bible.
