Men’s Ministry: Outreach Day

On Saturday Oct 17 the Men's Group took the day to serve the Westbank unhoused community. We donned matching vests and set out to a few different spots that were prayerfully chosen in the weeks prior. The day was marked with prayer, laughter, and moments of reflection on the privilege we take for granted every day.

It's always an exciting time before a Service Day. We never really know who we will meet or what we will find. The purpose isn't to see how much trash we can find (although we did gather a truckload!), or how many people we can corner to tell about Christ. After we prayerfully ask God to humble and guide us, we set forth with the intention of serving the unhoused population that needs it so much, building relationships with this community, and showing them that church is a safe place. We trust God to set up the conversations that need to be had, and show us what areas need the most help. By God's grace, we were able to bless a few people and I am so grateful for the opportunity.

See you Sunday Sunridge!   Adam
